This pairing is expensive, but the logic is excellent. Botswana gives you tiny camps, light-aircraft transfers, mokoro or boating where water levels allow, and low-density wildlife viewing. Seychelles then gives you the opposite rhythm: no dawn wake-up call, no game-drive schedule and enough time to enjoy a proper island stay rather than a rushed beach add-on.

Three nights give you enough time for several activities without immediately repacking after the first full safari day.
Honeymoon priority: location and activity mix matter more than suite size. A beautiful room cannot compensate for repeating the same safari rhythm at every stop.
Change habitat rather than just changing hotels
Chobe River is the obvious choice if elephants and boat-based wildlife viewing appeal. Savute is stronger when you want a drier, more land-led second chapter with a very different landscape from the Delta.
For the simplest logistics before Seychelles, the Kasane/Chobe side is attractive because it puts you closer to a commercial airport. Savute creates more wilderness but usually adds another light-aircraft sector.

1. Botswana’s internal flights are part of the itinerary

2. Botswana to Seychelles is not a simple one-hop beach transfer
The cleanest routing often involves a Southern African hub such as Johannesburg before continuing to Mahé. Whether it works in one day depends on the exact weekday and flight schedules, so build the honeymoon around the connection rather than assuming it will line up.
3. A transit night can improve the trip
If the connection is fragile, make the trip 14 nights and add a Johannesburg night. That is better than cutting a Botswana camp to two nights or risking a missed Seychelles sector.
4. Keep Seychelles simple after six safari nights
One island is completely reasonable. Two work well in seven nights. Three usually recreates the same transfer-heavy rhythm you have just left in Botswana.
