The strongest 11-night route is one Kigali night, three around Volcanoes National Park and seven in Seychelles. Keep the island half to Praslin plus Mahé, or choose one Mahé resort if the gorilla trek has already used the trip’s logistical energy.

Rwanda trekking is generally easier in the drier June–September and December–February periods. Seychelles is especially attractive in shoulder months; September–October often creates the best practical overlap.
