What Happens Next

No call centre, no drip campaign, no pressure.

1
We read your briefA person reads it, not a form-filler. If something is unclear or if we think your budget and plan do not match, we will tell you honestly before going further.
2
We match you to specialistsUsually two or three operators who work in that specific destination and price bracket — not a generic list of everyone we could send it to.
3
The specialists contact you directlyNormally within one working day. You compare their proposals, ask questions, and book with whoever you like best. Or none of them.
Why this costs you nothing

Tour operators pay a commission if you book through an introduction from us. That commission comes out of their marketing budget, not your trip price — you pay the same as if you had found them yourself. If you do not book, nobody pays anything. We would rather tell you a destination is wrong for you than push a trip that disappoints.

Before You Send Your Brief

Three things worth deciding first — they make the proposals you get back far more useful.

A real budget

The single most useful thing you can share. Operators build very different trips at US$8,000 and US$25,000, and a vague brief gets you a vague quote. Nobody will spend it just because you named it — it lets them show you the best version of what you can actually afford.

Rough dates

Season changes everything in Africa: price, wildlife, rainfall, whether a camp is even open. Even “probably September” is enough. If your dates are flexible by a few weeks, say so — it can save you thousands.

What you actually want

Not a wish list of sights, but the feel of it. Waking up somewhere completely silent? Diving every day? Being looked after so you never make a decision? That is what separates a good itinerary from a generic one.

Questions About the Service

Is it really free?

Yes. You never pay us anything, and you do not pay more for your trip than you would by contacting the operator directly. We are paid a commission by the operator only if you book.

How many companies will contact us?

Usually two or three. We deliberately do not blast your brief to a dozen operators — that produces a flooded inbox and worse proposals, because operators put less effort into a quote they know is one of twelve.

What do you do with our data?

We pass your brief to the specialists we match you with, so they can quote. That is the whole purpose of sending it. We do not sell your details to anyone else, we do not add you to unrelated marketing lists, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Can you help if we already know exactly what we want?

Yes, and it makes things faster. Put the detail in the message box — specific camps, lodges, dates, a draft itinerary — and operators can come back with a firm price rather than a proposal.

We are not ready to book. Is it too early to ask?

No, and for peak season it is often too late rather than too early. The best safari camps and island villas for July to October are frequently full nine to twelve months ahead. If you are twelve to eighteen months out, that is an ideal time to start.
